There is so much going on in Thame all through the year. Lots of it is run by non-profit organisations and charities.
Thame.net in conjunction with 21st Century Thame and Thame Town Council are working together to improve the communications about volunteers by the organisations needing volunteers to those who have decided to give a little of their time.
The amount of time you offer to any organisation depends totally on your life. It could be an hour a week, 4 hours one day every other month. Some volunteers enjoy it so much they get very involved and take great satisfaction in helping the community. You can choose to work with kids, with the elderly, at music events, at fetes and festivals, help plant trees, help grow trees – the list is endless and there is a group to suit everyone.
