Thame Wombles, the Thame litter picking group, have adopted the Thame Services area as a base for a “Thame Wombles” community environmental group.
Head Womble and a team of litter pickers have been brilliantly and diligently clearing historic litter for the past few months. Unfortunately, the litter picking work continues due to an abundance of rubbish that seems to accumulate every day.
With the opening of the new coffee outlet in June 2021 it seemed like an appropriate time to open up a facebook group so that Thame residents and visitors to the service station can review their experiences, good or bad !
We hope lots of people will join the group and help to put pressure on the landowners and the businesses to try to keep the area tidy and maybe to improve the conservation of the area behind.
