The team of #ThameTrees of 21st Century Thame would like to thank Hartwell Nurseries for their sponsorship and involvement in the #ThameTrees project so far.
Hartwell Nurseries have been involved from the start. They arranged for over 1000 whips and feathers (sizes of trees) to be delivered at cost price on time for the Volunteer Fair in February 2020.
As part of the delivery for the Volunteer Fair they kindly donated stakes and compost and delivered the trees to Racquets Fitness Centre for free.
The 1000 whips and feathers are planted all through Thame and surrounding villages in peoples gardens, at allotments and in business outdoor areas.
In March, Hartwell Nurseries arranged another 250 trees for us and these were delivered direct to a Moreton property just after the first lockdown. Here is a photo of where they are planted :
